It's not homemade unless it's home-made

Two days ago I was telling Rachel how it really bugged me how every store claims that their food is homemade. Then, ironically, Jason calls me up today and starts ranting about how he saw a sign for "Homemade Grandma's Bread" and said that the claim to homemade food has always bugged him.

Just because you make it from scratch doesn't mean it's homemade! Homemade, by definition is: "made or produced in the home or by yourself"

I don't know how grocery stores and restaurants get away with saying that they have homemade food. If it's at the restaurant, then it's restaurant made - end of story.
