Door A-peel

I found a funny picture of our door from last winter. One day it got so cold that the paint on our door cracked and popped right off! We took this picture as evidence.

The weird thing is that our neighbor told his wife that Rachel peeled it off. I don't even know why he would think that she'd go out one day and peel the paint off of our door.

It was like that for about 4 months since the HOA said that they couldn't come fix it until it was 60 degrees for 4 days in a row.

Did I just say that out loud?

The lights at the Hanover building that they have installed in the restrooms are neat. They turn off on their own by a timer and then turn on by motion sensors. So you'd think that I'd be able to know if someone was already in there by simply observing whether the light was on or off when I walked in. My problem is that my mind races and sometimes I say things aloud or even hum/sing when I'm alone, or think that I'm alone.

I was in there and all this stuff was going through my head. As I was leaving I heard rustling on the other side of the wall-thingy they have in bathrooms. Ahh! Someone was in there the whole time. But it was one of those did-I-say-anything-out-loud-or-was-I-just-thinking experiences. I hate to say it, but the guy that was in there was fired a few days later (I swear I had nothing to do with it!). Lucky me, I guess.
