Mommy Hair

OK, so I know this is kind of a weird picture, but I just wanted to show how interesting my hair has gotten since I had Joshua. If you look closely, you'll notice in the top right corner of the photo I have tons of short little hairs that are pointing straight up in the air. They are driving me crazy. I can't get them to settle down. It's like they're possessed or something.

Along with this, I've lost about half of my hair. If this doesn't stop soon I'll be bald by the end of the year. Good thing I started out with really thick hair or I may have had to start looking into hair transplants already. A bald woman is a no go for me. Definitely not an option. I love Joshua and all, but I sure wish he came along with a nicer body and better looking hair rather than the other way around!

You have the most beautiful thick hair I've ever seen. I'm sorry, you're losing some of it. I'm sure it's still thicker than mine.

We share the same annoyance! I have these crazy whispy things on the left side of my hairline!!!! They won't lay flat or to the side or anything. Maybe it's the price we have to pay for those adorable December babies.
I feel your pain, though I have yet to start losing my hair, if that starts to happen well crap I might as well chop it all off! BIG talk though I don't think I'm brave enough to.

If it makes you feel any better I haven't noticed at all! And I don't know if that ever happened to me, but I have shorter hair and chop it off all the time so I don't think I'd notice if it was happening anyways. Hmmm... I wonder.....

Brigitte-
Trust me, you'd know it if you had this kind of crazy hair! You just lucked out!

Same thing happened to me. When I was pregnant with James, my hair was so thick and healthy. Right after I had him, it started coming out in clumps, I am so not kidding. Finally, when I lost I think about half my hair, it started growing back it. Then I was stuck with all these baby hairs sprouting out of the top of my head, I couldn't do anything with them! So let me just say, I feel for you. But don't worry, it does end eventually!

Just to let you know, that is what is supposed to happen. when you are pregnant your hair literally stops falling out because of the hormones. Once you have the baby and your hormones start to get back to normal, the hair that was supposed to fall out during pregnancy will then fall out so it seems that you are loosing all of your hair when in actuality, you are just loosing what you were supposed to but didn't! I know it sounds crazy but it is true! My hair is so thick that I look forward to it falling out after pregnancy!!!
