My New Addiction...to James' Dismay

I admit it. I absolutely LOVE buying baby clothes. I've even had to hold myself back a number of times from buying girl baby clothes. Not only do I not have a girl, I'm not even pregnant with one. I'm pretty sure James would totally freak if I came home with girl baby clothes. He already doesn't understand why I ever buy Joshua any clothes as it is. In reality he is right. I have plenty of clothes for him. My wonderful neighbor actually gave me a bunch. BUT... how could you possibly deny a mom an occasional splurge on kid's clothing?

Also, I admit to spending much of my time going through Joshua's clothes in his closet with no purpose in mind other than to take in the cuteness of it all. Am I crazy or what? OR am I simply just a MOM.

I'm the same way. I love to reorganize Cogan's clothes in his closet. Sometimes it makes me sad because he has a much more amazing wardrobe than I do. :-(

Take a look at Joshua's closet and it will be clear to see that he is set clothes-wise until he goes off to college. j/k

I can totally relate. I've probably only bought myself two or three shirts since Emily was born because baby clothes are so much more fun to shop for!

I so have the same problem!!!! My real downfall is the Target and WalMart clearance sections. I have to look every time I go, but my rule is it has to be $2.99 or less :) and I'm still able to find way too much. I also love Craig's List, hand-me-downs, and garage sales. The reason that it is so awesome to shop for kids clothes is because they are so much cheaper than adult clothes and our kids always look cute in them as opposed to clothes we buy for ourselves that don't always look that great... I'm glad to see that other people have the same problem as I do :)

P.S. I also love looking through my girls clothes...especially their dresses. I've been looking at their summer clothes lately with longing for warmer days.

I am in the same boat, except I have one of each now and just going into a store is dangerous...cause I get attacked from every angle of cute things to get for the kids.

You are not crazy at all! I feel the same way!! I absolutely love to buy baby clothes and definitely have a weakness for adorable baby clothes and find myself buying them regardless of size, gender....I justify it by saying that I will eventually know someone who can wear it!
