A new baby in Missouri

Joshua and I spent a couple weeks in Missouri visiting the newly born baby Marcus. They moved to Missouri a couple weeks before the baby was born for physical therapy school.

Look how huge baby Marcus is at one week of age! He was over 9 lbs at birth even though he was born a week early! My family has huge babies!

Here's where Ruth (my twin), Breno (her husband) and baby Marcus live. What a beautiful home! They live on the top floor.

Not only are there tons are parks in Missouri, but many of them are absolutely huge and amazing! This one is a few minutes car ride from their house and is one of the biggest in the country.

I get ringlets in my hair when I'm in humid places.

Joshua had a lot of fun visiting his new cousin. He of course made a big mess eating food.

And he learned how to pose for a camera.

He also at his first whole apple. He didn't mind the outside peel at all.

My sister's neighborhood is amazingly beautiful. Here's the view of her street. Look at all those awesome trees!

Isn't the moss awesome!

We went to a park a few minutes walk from their house a couple times a day since they didn't have a backyard. Here's what we had to look at on the way to the park. Poor us!

Here's a view of the park from the entrance of it.

And here's a close up of the pond at the park.

Although St. Louise is beautiful, it sure is hot and humid! For those of you who know me well, you know I was NOT enjoying those climate characteristics while I was there! It was great to be able to be there for my sister and her family during this eventful time in their lives.

It sure was lonely while you were gone. But I'm glad you could go help Ruth!

This is the first I've heard of baby Marcus, so I'm glad you posted it! Nine pounds beats out Caleb - poor Ruth! He's a cute little thing though. Missouri is beautiful! I'm jealous!

So glad you got to go visit Ruthy! I hope I will get to see her sometime soon too (before that baby grows up too much!) Did you visit Forest Park? We went there when we were in St. Louis and loved it! I can tell it was so humid because your pictures have blurry spots on them! I bet you'd enjoy Cincy too if you came to visit sometime. We have tons of trees and parks too! :)

You know, I hear Florida is amazing in November. You know especially around Nov. 5-15th-or til after Thanksgiving!

I had some twins in my first married student ward who were named Ruth and Rachel!

It looks beautiful there. I love humidity. My skin isn't so dry!

I was so annoyed when I saw the blurry spot in the photos after I got home from missouri. Too bad I didn't notice it sooner. All my pictures are messed up!
