Fun at Pioneer Village

We've gone to pioneer village a bunch the last year because James' parents bought a grandparent pass. The place is actually a lot more fun than I expected it to be. The kids could easily spend all day there once a week. Here's some of the fun they had one day we visited.
Jacob took his first ride on a horse. He only lasted about 25 seconds before he crawled off the horse into my arms.

Joshua and his grandma panning for gold.

Train ride. I hope I don't usually look like this from behind!

Making imprints on leather

Joshua was pretty nervous to ride the horses (as in, we've tried to get him to do it at least 6 times prior) but loved it once he got going.  He refused to go again.

We pet the animals. Joshua fell in love with a certain goal and wouldn't leave it alone..

Jacob is a smily, smily boy.

Random swing. I thought it was peaceful looking and had an old-time charm to it.

Jacob waved at everyone as they walked past. It was pretty adorable.
